Spelling Bee Update!!

**Congratulations to James G for winning the Regional Spelling Bee. James will go on to represent PWE & this region of our state in The Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington DC. 

Pine Wood Elementary had a school-wide spelling bee.The students who won 1st place in their classroom spelling bees competed against each other. All students worked hard to study these difficult words! It came down to A. McFatter and J. Granger. These two amazing students went head-to-head for a long time! It was a real nail-biter! J. Granger won 1st place! He will be headed to Lake Charles to compete in the regional spelling bee next month! We want to shout a huge CONGRATULATIONS to all of our contestants and another huge CONGRATULATIONS to J. Granger for taking 1st place!!!
